You would probably be better off seeing a doctor. If left untreated, it could spread to your kidneys.

I don't know about plants from the philippines but you should drink lots of cranberry juice. Also sit in a warm bath - no bubbles just plain water - this allows the urethra to open up and let any urine stored in there to be released which is one of the causes of a UTI.
Hope you feel better.

I believe that we all have a "physician within" and I do think that a lot of herbal things may work. BUT, if you have had that UTI for a length of time, YOU REALLY NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR.
It has been said that cranberry's and cranberry juice can help this problem. I don't know that it will "cure" the problem. I do know that it helps "PREVENT" the problem..Good luck.

You need quinic acid. You can find it in cranberries, but the amount that you need to ingest is best found in concentrated cranberry tablets found at most pharmacies and fairly inexpensive. Use the tablets for 7 days AFTER you no longer feel the effects of the UTI. Don't just stop taking them when you feel better. If the UTI recurs, see a doc to avoid kidney troubles.
